New · BMW F-Series · NBT EVO
Turn-by-turn directions from Apple Maps or Google Maps on your BMW Head-Up Display, your digital instrument cluster, or both — in the same clean style as BMW’s own navigation.
Why drivers love it
You already use CarPlay for navigation. Now every turn appears in front of you, in the places BMW designed for it.
Left and right turns, U-turns, motorway exits and roundabouts — including the roundabout exit number.
Metres or kilometres to the next turn, with an approach bar that fills over the last 300 m.
The road you are turning into, in full or shortened — or a short description of the manoeuvre instead.
The lanes on your route highlighted, in two styles: perspective lanes or columns with arrows. Can be switched off.
Matches BMW’s own look, including the red-orange night palette on the HUD.
No app to open and no internet needed in the car — it works every time you drive.
Your choice
Pick how guidance is shown — straight from the iDrive menu.
Follows your HUD setting: HUD on → windshield, HUD off → cluster.
Projected on the windshield, right in your line of sight.
Between the gauges of the LED digital instrument cluster.
Both at the same time, for the full factory experience.
Settings in your car
A dedicated entry under My Vehicle — no laptop needed after installation.
Try it — tap the options.
Navigation apps
What appears depends on what each app shares with the car.
Waze hasn’t been confirmed for this integration yet.

Works alongside BMW
Start a route on the BMW system and it takes the HUD and cluster as usual. When that route ends, CarPlay guidance comes back on its own. Nothing is replaced, and it can be removed at any time.
One route at a time: starting a BMW route cancels the iPhone route, and the other way around.
Compatibility
Check these before ordering — or send us your VIN and we’ll check for you.
The installer reads your unit’s software version first and does nothing if it isn’t compatible.

Installation
Buy online. We confirm compatibility and send your personal installation code.
A Windows laptop and an ENET cable (OBD to Ethernet) — the same one used for coding.
Run the installer with your code. It checks the unit first, then installs only its own files.
Start the car, open your CarPlay navigation app and watch the HUD.
Prefer us to do it? We can install it remotely with you in the car.
FAQ
No. Wireless CarPlay must already be activated and working. We can activate CarPlay for you first — see our CarPlay services.
NBT EVO uses wireless CarPlay, and this integration works with it.
Yes. While BMW navigation is guiding, it has priority on the HUD and cluster. CarPlay guidance resumes when it ends. You can’t run a BMW route and an iPhone route at the same time — starting one cancels the other.
Between the speedometer and the rev counter — the same place BMW navigation uses.
Yes, if your car has both. You can also choose HUD only, cluster only, or automatic.
Yes, if it has the LED digital instrument cluster — guidance is shown between the gauges. Classic needle clusters are not supported.
Yes: turns, distance and street names. Lane guidance hasn’t been verified for Google Maps.
Lanes only appear if the navigation app sends them. Yandex Navigator does; Apple Maps does not.
Waze hasn’t been confirmed for this integration yet.
No. It currently supports selected F-Series cars with NBT EVO.
No. Only the laptop needs internet during installation. Directions are processed inside the head unit and are not sent anywhere.
No. Just a laptop and an ENET cable. If your laptop has no Ethernet port, use a USB-to-Ethernet adapter.
Simply run the installer again: it finishes the installation or restores the original state.
Yes, completely, with one command in the installer. The unit goes back to factory behaviour.
An update can move your unit to a version that isn’t supported yet. Remove it before the dealer visit, then check compatibility and reinstall.
Check compatibility and bring CarPlay navigation to your HUD & cluster.
